Karan Johar To Unveil His Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds, Singapore
Filmmaker Karan Johar is over the moon and he has every reason to be so. The 46-year-old director-producer-host will be unveiling his wax figure at Madame Tussauds, Singapore on Thursday. The unveiling will be live streamed from Sentosa. Karan will be launching an ‘ultimate film star’ experience, a 2500 square meters new zone celebrating Indian cinema.

It will utilise interactive technology like AR, Kinect, Hologram and physical special effects providing visitors the chance to dance and act their way into the hall of fame alongside well-known Indian celebrities. The Instagram page of Madame Tussauds, Singapore shared the news along with a picture of Karan Johar showing his hand imprints. The post reads, "Not a fan of coffee? But not with Karan Johar's Koffee because he will definitely brew to perfection! Join us at the opening of Ultimate Film Star experience on April 4."


Recently, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Diljit Dosanjh unveiled their wax figures. Priyanka’s wax statue was unveiled at Madame Tussauds, New York, Deepika unveiled her wax figure at Madame Tussauds, London. She was accompanied by hubby, Ranveer Singh who was floored by the resemblance of the statue. Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh unveiled his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, New Delhi.


On the professional front, Karan is upbeat about his soon-to-release production, Kalank that stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The movie will be releasing on April 17, 2019.
